A small group is a gathering of 8-15 adults that meet together for the purposes of community and spiritual growth. We believe that God made us for relationships. We also believe that Jesus asked us to be his disciples who make other disciples. In a small group, we disciple one another through reading the Bible and applying God's word to our lives together.
Most small groups meet at each other's homes, though some choose to meet in the First Christian Church building. Some groups meet every week, while others meet bi-weekly, or even monthly. Some groups like to share a meal together before getting into the study, while others like to get right into the discussion and keep the meeting short.
