OUR WORSHIP
Worship is meant to be a time of giving our adoration and praise to God as the audience of one. We try to make the service one in which believers can worship in a manner comfortable to them and also pleasing to God.
While two distinctly different music styles are used the purpose is the same: to give praise and adoration to God. Our services include a worship time, practical message based on God’s Word, The Lord’s Supper, stewardship opportunity, prayer and encouragement. We value the time spent in worship and consider it a boost into the week of living for Jesus.
There are many people involved in worship ministry; opportunities to serve are always available.
-Communion is offered to followers of Jesus Christ. The bread represents His body and the juice represents His blood. We take it to remember what He has done for us, and to renew ourselves. Feel free to partake whenever you are ready.
-Offering–as our guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering, instead, we hope we were able to give something to you.
-Sunday School–adult Sunday school begins at 9:45am. Also at 9:45 children age 26 months through high school may participate in Sunday school as well.
-Children–We provide an excellent and well-supervised nursery and children’s programs. Your child will learn at their level with our caregivers and teachers.
-Babies–infants up to 26 months can go to our nursery during service times and the Sunday school hour.
-Wee Worship is held for pre-school aged children at 10:45am (during contemporary service) in the SE corner of the building.
-Junior Worship is held for grades 1 through 6 at 10:45am in the Jr. and Sr. High classrooms in the NW corner of the building and is designed to meet the needs of the young worshiper.
-Sharing Information–A “Connection Card” is our way of getting to know you and your way to communicate to our church staff. Please fill one out if you will.
-Dress Code–We have no official dress code. We take the common sense approach and want you to be comfortable during worship. Slacks, jeans, shorts, dress shoes, tennis shoes, collared shirts, t-shirts etc are common. We just ask nothing offensive.
