Associate Minister Dan Simmons lives in Galesburg with his wife M’Len. They have two adult children (Ian and Amber), one daughter-in-law (Amanda) a grandson (Cade) and a cat. (The cat is not actually related to them, though it does seem to rule their home!) Dan heads the Acts29 Ministries at FCC which includes small groups and adult Christian education. He also serves as one of our worship leaders. A retired firefighter and avid songwriter, Dan has served on the FCC staff since June of 2008. Thirty years of traveling music ministries and a quarter century of fighting fires has convinced him that playing music in one spot and starting fires in people’s lives is a much better gig!
