Junior High & High School Youth -

Teenagers are full of energy and ideas. These ideas are
creative and spontaneous, which are great qualities if channeled
properly! At First Christian Church we encourage these young
people to develop and learn more about their relationship
with Christ and what He can do in their lives once given
the opportunity. We believe Christ can impact their world
in amazing ways. Our staff and youth sponsors go the extra
mile to encourage, teach and nurture teens that come through
our doors. They take time to build relationships with teens
because they genuinely care about their lives.
On Sunday evenings the Junior High youth meet from 5-6:30pm and the Senior High youth meet from 6:30-8:15pm
with a study, fellowship, food and games. During the summer
they continue to meet on Sunday evenings engaging youth
groups from other churches in the area to join them.
During the school year, Nathan meets the youth at school
to have a prayer time before school begins on Wednesday
mornings at 7:45am. On Thursday he meets at 7:15am with the Junior High students for a breakfast and prayer time. At 6pm on Wednesday, there is Bible Study for both Junior High and High School youth.
Being accepted
is a #1 issue for teens today. It is so important that we
get our identity from God and develop a personal relationship
with Him. Both Junior High and High School Sunday School classes are held
at 9:45am on Sunday morning. Students are then invited to join our church family for worship time at 10:45am. |
